How Dr. Sharon Spano helped CEO Alex V. transform his leadership and his culture

Meet Alex: “I definitely knew something was off, and I couldn’t fix it on my own.”

He runs a $100M multi-business organization, so by all accounts, Alex knows how to build success.

But peek behind the curtain, and you’ll find a tangled reality.

For decades, Alex had been struggling with unresolved conflict in his long-term business partnership. And unhealthy dynamics between top leaders in his organization were sabotaging team culture and overall organizational performance.

Even more, with a natural instinct to make quick decisions, Alex was constantly prioritizing his way of doing things as “the right way.” He thought that if he could just mold everyone else into his own image – teaching them how to think and lead like him – everything would run smoothly.

It was an effort that backfired at every step.

“It’s very easy to feel the reason things are not good is because of everyone else around you, and if those people will just change, things will be great. But the reality is that it really has nothing to do with the other person. It has to do with you, and more importantly, the only thing you can control is your own change.”

The Turning Point: “Whatever I was going through. . . wasn’t the real issue. It was really going back in time to understand how I got to be the person I am today.”

Alex engaged Sharon for an intensive, deeply personal process combining family constellations, forgiveness work, and psychological insight exposing the ways deep-seeded patterns of behavior were influencing his everyday leadership.

Through guided journaling, trust frameworks, and exploring hidden family dynamics, Alex gained clear self-awareness and tools to change his impact.

“She has a unique ability to take the psychological piece of why I do things and help me understand how that translates into a business situation.”

The Results: “I spent my entire career trying to get others to act like me. . . Sharon helped me appreciate who they really are instead.”

Shifted from quick, reactive decisions to thoughtful, people-centered leadership
Transformed toxic executive relationships into supportive partnerships
Cultivated a healthier organizational culture – observed by employees at every level
Created ripple effects by inviting his business partner, vice presidents, and family to do their own work with Sharon, amplifying the impact

“Culturally, it was really bad before, but now we’re extremely collaborative, supporting each other — which improves culture. The change within my organization has been night and day. It’s just a happier place to work.”

Today, Alex leads with greater empathy, clarity, and trust – proof that when leaders do the deep inner work, entire systems shift with them.

“Working with Sharon changed everything for me — not just in business, but in how I see myself and my relationships. She helped me uncover why I am the way I am and take responsibility for my role in any dysfunction. As a result, I’m a more empathetic, thoughtful leader, and our entire culture has improved. This work rippled through my family, my leadership team, and our company. It’s been transformative in ways I couldn’t have imagined.” — Alex V.

MY CORE VALUES

Here are a few promises I can guarantee.

LOVE OTHERS WELL

Loving others well means getting quiet to listen and opening your eyes wide to see. It means holding back judgment and embracing what is without criticism or shame or fear in order to make space for what can be.

WE'RE ALL WIRED FOR SOMETHING GRAND

While this doesn’t mean we’re all called to be kings and queens, it does mean we’ve been designed to influence our small corner of the world. No matter what our divine calling is, we can do it with great impact.

FAMILY MATTERS MOST

Our family is the first place we understand and inherit our sense of belonging, so if we want to lead ourselves and others well, then we must invest in preserving, protecting, healing, and restoring the family system.

TESTIMONIALS

When you learn how to lead yourself well and live to your highest potential, your impact always expands..

Jen Meyers, 7-figure entrepreneur + business coach

Because of my work with Sharon, I doubled my business in 2023. Sharon brought such a different perspective to the table, I had so many aha moments. . . . It completely changed my life, not only my life, but I taught it to a lot of my clients, and it’s changed their lives, too.

Katie Tagarello, corporate employee

I can be more assertive now and know when I’m being assertive versus being harsh or just trying to get out of things. I understand how to communicate or reflect on myself without a shame spiral. Now, when that comes up, I can navigate through it a lot faster. My physical health has improved. I feel less hypertension. My gut health is better.

Ronda Nelson , serial entrepreneur + business coach

My team has become more confident in their ability to give me their perspective, but they also are looking at me more as the leader, and that’s been an important distinction because I was always afraid I was wrong. That was my narrative before.

Rachael Stone, online business owner

She’s so good about giving practical practices and re-centering you back to what you’re learning. I’m way more clear about what I charge, why I charge, and why it’s important. I’m now free to be me and to run my business the way that I want to in my office.
