Sharon Spano, Ph.D.
I help entrepreneurs maximize critical systems to accelerate performance and profitability. As a business strategist, author, and Professional Integral Coach, I have a passion for working with large and small business leaders and nonprofit organizations. My job is to help you or your company realign your corporate strategy with a culture of performance that is dedicated to service and excellence.
I am also a scholar-practitioner who enjoys researching and understanding some of the hard stuff of life so you don’t have to. There’s nothing like helping people move through challenge such that they come out more passionate and fulfilled on the other side.
Whether you’re a person in the midst of change, an entrepreneur, or an organizational leader, I’d love to help you discover a more meaningful and prosperous life.

I started my career as a child and family advocate in the disability world. My passion for people with disabilities came about as a result of our son Michael. Michael was born with a rare metabolic disorder. I guess I could say that my desire to help him realize his greatest potential was the jumping off point for the rest of my career.
In 1997, I formed Spano & Company, Inc. and began working with large corporations across North America. The goal at that time was to “equip ordinary people to build great companies.” Today, my work is complex and varied. I love helping entrepreneurs strategically design their businesses for profitability—but in ways that allow for a balanced life with family and friends.
I also love working with nonprofit organizations that are committed to building a culture of collaboration and meaningful purpose. My latest research explores the lived experience of wise leaders in complex environments. I’m also deeply interested in how we, as adults, experience time and money.
I can offer you tested, refined research and processes that will catapult you or your organization to higher levels of performance. More importantly, I can show you how to realize your potential and still have a life.
