LOCAL RADIO SHOW HOST EARNS PRESTIGIOUS DESIGNATION:
(Orlando, FL – June 9, 2008) Sharon Spano, Corporate-Health Strategist and President of Spano & Company, Inc., has earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. Established in 1980, the CSP is the speaking industry’s international measure of speaking excellence and skill. Fewer than 10 percent of the speakers who belong to the International Federation for Professional Speakers hold this professional designation.
The CSP designation is conferred by the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the International Federation of Professional Speakers (IFPS) only on accomplished professional speakers who have earned it by meeting strict criteria. CSPs must document a proven track record of continuing speaking experience and expertise as well as commitment to ongoing education, outstanding client service and ethical behavior. Spano is one of a small and select group of professionals to earn the CSP in the class of 2008.
Spano founded Spano & Company, Inc., a national human and organizational development firm with headquarters in Heathrow, Florida in 1996. Specializing in Organizational Revitalization and Innovation, Leadership Development, Sales Mastery and Organizational Re-engineering, her clients include MIT, John Hopkins University, Lynx (Central Florida Transportation Authority), The U.S. Department of Education and The U.S. Navy Region Mid-Atlantic.
Spano is the host of Work Smart Live, the weekly business-themed radio show on 540/WFLA. She is the author of Isabel’s God, and co-author of the books Magnetic Leadership and Ordinary Women…Extraordinary Success.
Sharon will be honored during a ceremony on August 3rd at the 2008 NSA Convention in New York City, New York.
